| Low-E Low-emittance (Low-E) is a coating
that saves on heating costs by reflecting heat back into
the home in the winter and saves on cooling costs by reflecting
the heat of the sun off the glass in the summer. Harvey
windows are Energy Star® qualified throughout the United
States when Low-E is combined with Argon gas between the
glass, and Energy Star® qualified windows are 40% more efficient
than windows that meet most national building codes. |
|
| Low-E/Argon Gas We combine PPG Intercept,®
Low-E Glass and Argon gas between the glass for superior
thermal efficiency. Argon gas is much heavier than air,
making it more difficult for warm or cold air to pass through.
This glazing choice will meet or exceed most local building
code requirements and provides Energy Star® qualified performance.
